I've tried other versions of this type of fan, and unfortunately they have all broken because we would flip the backseats down and they'd break when the headrest hit them. The large arm on this means it can be positioned between the front seats, which keeps it out of the way but also seems to help move air from the front to the back.I particularly like how this attaches to the headrest -- previous ones have not worked with both our cars, or have gotten in the way. This attached very easily and seems like it would adjust to just about any vehicle.I haven't tried the adapter -- just plugged it into the one I already have with multiple USB ports. Works great, backseat approved.
