The way the cast aluminum heat exchanger is made it is obvious that this charger is designed for heavy amp loading without overheating. Remember that this is a smart-charger, and will not recognize battery banks that are below 36 VDC - you have to charge the 6 VDC individual batteries to 6 VDC before using this charger on the series-connected bank. The charger works relatively fast on recharging battery banks that are not sulfonated. 5 stars.
